Sad news tonight in the sports world...longtime Tiger broadcaster Ernie Harwell passed away today at his home in Novi...anyone who is/was a Tiger fan has a treasure trove of memories of this man, who I had the honor and pleasure of meeting...many a night was spent listening to Ernie and Ray Lane, then Paul Carey, bringing Tiger baseball alive...and providing each listener with a geography lesson..."and there's a man from Canton catching that foul ball"...anyone who listened to Ernie was privy to greatness...an era is over...we will miss him....God Bless The Man...
